Let's Go
I heard a really touching quote not too long ago. It resonated deeply in my spirit. I just cried. It concisely and powerfully put language to what I also believe, value and the timing of it was beautiful. A well known worship leader said this, "I want to mother a generation because the difference is, an incredible leader can point you in the right direction, but a mother and father will walk you all the way home."
Even in the midst of all that is taking place in our nation, the world and planet earth right now, I am filled with hope, great expectation and anticipation. I anxiously await for what God is going to do in and through his willing and available sons and daughters. Count me in! I am ready, let's go. I do believe I am stepping into a new season, chapter. Although my children are still little (age 7 and 4), our pace and rhythm has definitely shifted and there is more margin in our life right now as they become more independent. While they will always be my first ministry and disciples, I still very much look forward to the possibilities and especially for what God has in store for me. I am really curious to see how it all unfolds! Having said that, I have also made peace with the possibility that my future may not look drastically different than my current day to day schedule and I may not be fully engaged with "hands on" ministry. And I'm okay with that. Because it's all still ministry. I just want to experience more intimately, directly and with my own eyes this incredible move of God. And it's already happening!
It's an exciting time to be alive and a Christ follower. God is awakening, reviving, regenerating, renewing, doing a new thing. Let's goooooooooooooo.

Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19
